Outside-in :

Inside-out:
- Is when you discover your unique purpose and live your daily life to see it through. This allows you to make you’re decisions free from outside manipulations. you’ll always have clarity. You’ll will always have confidence and the ability to make decisions without contradicting.
Now what does this have to do with branding your music?

It has everything to do with it because most musicians approach branding from the outside-in! The majority of us (Musicians) tend to:
- Look at other musicians and what they’re doing
- Other genres
- Look at other people’s likes
- Look at what other people might like of what we do
- Base ourselves on other styles of music
- Think about what other people think about what we do
- Labeling ourselves so people see us in a way that might be accepted and placed in a particular box 📦
All of these things exists on the Outside! So what happens when we do that? What happens when we brand from the Outside-In?
- We become imitators
- We’re uncertain
- We lack confidence
- We don’t believe
- Unfocused, No direction, No guidance
- Hard to stand out and grow an audience
- Hard to make people care
Does this sound familiar? Then you’ve been branding your music from the Outside-In.

- What you want and what make you happy
- What you believe
