Let’s Get To The Three Things To Begin Branding Your Music.
* The Right Color (Color is the first thing that people notice when they look at your brand) People are going to judge your brand based on how it makes them feel. Color brings out a lot of emotions. Similar to walking into a room that’s dark and gloomy vs a room thats bright and vibrant. Both put you in different kinds of moods. So based on what’s your purpose in music whether it’s making people happy vs sad. Your job should be Is to look for a color that would make people happy. Stay away from colors that make people sad. First step you should do is make a list of emotions you want people to feel or emotions you know that people feel when they listen to your music. You can actually Google which color conveys each of those emotions. You will automatically realize which colors represent your music. Find the right combination of colors and use them for all your music brand like logos, graphics, business cards, social media posts, flyers and etc that consistently represents your music. That way when somebody looks at your branding they automatically feel your music and it is all done through color.
* Graphics and Art Style (Think about a picture) It’s like that saying “A Picture Is Worth A Thousand Words” It allows you to say many things at once through one single image. That’s exactly what you want to do with your Graphics and Art Style. Example of Graphic and Art Style : The style of the visual elements you use in your marketing collateral like Merchandise, Graphics, Business Cards, Social Media Posts and Etc. Look at the image below, everything is unified. Similar patterns with the same colors being used. Mock draft below!!

How can you go about creating this for yourself? You want to do Two things with your Graphics and Art Style.
1. Be visually consistent
2. It has to fit the vibe of your music.
There’s 3 types of Graphics and Art Styles that you can work with.
1. Images (Literal physical picture in detail)

2. Patterns (Graphics that repeat) Good for backgrounds, they’re fun and professional.

3. Graphical Illustrations (Images designed in 2D)

How To Make The Best Choice?
Remember to be visually consistent and make sure it fits the vibe of your music.
If you go with an Image, make sure you find an image that best represents your music. It has to describe your music. Look at the image and list all the emotions that come to mind. This is important. Its important because It’s all about stringing that emotions onto others. In order to translate that visually then you have to be aware of what those emotions are. So that you can look at them in visual representation and be consistent.
Let’s say you picked the image below because it fits your music.

I’m going to show you a trick on how to find other visually consistent images, demonstrated in the video below : 👇🏽
* Logo (You Need A Logo That Represents Your Music) Logos are the fundamental baseline foundation of your brand. How do could we apply this in practice? That should be easy for you to answer right? Just combine everything we talked about. Purpose, Color, Graphics and Art Style.
In my case, my purpose Is to help transform people that get cyber bullied into someone courageous that stands up for themselves by expressing how they feel in their music. Basically saying “I’m still going to do what makes me happy no matter what they say to me or about me” plain and simple in black and white. People tried doing that to me so I speak up in my music, in behalf of those who are experiencing or have experienced cyber bullying in that past. The T and W looks like a transformer face in black and white. My logo displayed below really represents my music. 👇🏽

Let’s just say I found my purpose, connected that purpose with my music. It really maximized my sound and style with authenticity. To be honest, it helped give me another purpose to educate you through my many Lessons. Thank you for taking your music career serious enough for me to dedicate my time to you.
